“Can hardly wait to get started again!”
Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, the professional, extreme mountaineer, who has formed a preferred partnership with Banner, flies to Nepal on April 1, 2009, to commence her latest Himalayan expedition. Having already climbed eleven 8,000 m peaks without artificial oxygen, Gerlinde is currently the world’s most successful, female extreme mountaineer.
During recent months, Gerlinde has completed a lecture tour, which among other countries took her to Austria, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Italy and Poland. “I enjoyed an unbelievable number of positive meetings. The enormous interest in my expeditions, the many differing conversations and all the good wishes that I received, greatly enriched both my lectures and me as a person.”
