A class apart.

Camping, Caravans, Motorhomes

Power that travels with you.

With the new Banner Traction Block Lithium, energy supply becomes more predictable. Whether used for lighting, refrigeration, heating, water pumps, the easy connection of inverters or digital devices, the right lithium solution supports comfortable vanlife travel and greater independence when compared to conventional mains power. Efficient, long-lasting and safe.

Key benefits

A reliable onboard power supply

Even when multiple devices are running at the same time, the battery delivers stable voltage and sufficient reserve capacity – all day long.

Low self-discharge, fast charging

Short charging times ensure maximum availability. Low self-discharge keeps the battery ready for use even after weeks without use.

High cycle life

At least 5,000 charge cycles at 50% depth of discharge – seven times more than a comparable AGM battery.

Safety at a glance

The integrated battery management system continuously monitors voltage, temperature and state of charge – with all data accessible at any time via the App.

Protection against dust and moisture

The IP65 rating reliably protects the battery against dust, water jets and moisture – ideal for outdoor use.

Reliable performance in cold conditions

The integrated heating function of the Traction Bull Bloc Lithium 80 Ah and 100 Ah ensures safe, high-performance operation even at temperatures as low as -20°C.

Less weight, more payload capacity

With the same capacity, it weighs only around one-third as much as a comparable lead-acid battery – leaving more payload capacity and space saving.

Typical battery capacities for caravans

  • 100 Ah: Basic power supply for lighting, water pumps and small electrical loads
  • 2 × 100 Ah: Greater independence for longer trips
  • 3 × 100 Ah: For high energy demands with an inverter and additional electrical loads
  • 4 × 100 Ah: Maximum off-grid capability for extended stays

Charge on the go –
wherever and however you travel

Battery Management System (BMS)

Full control via App
The integrated Battery Management System continuously monitors critiical elements, such as: state of charge, voltage, temperature, individual cell voltages and protection functions in the event of overvoltage or undervoltage. Via Bluetooth, the free Banner App (Google Play, App Store) retrieves these values in real time. The data collected only remains between the battery and smartphone – hosted in Austria, without collecting user data. So it's a tehnology you can rely on.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How long will my lithium battery last in my motorhome/caravan?

How long it lasts depends on the battery capacity and the power consumption of your devices. Thanks to the high usable capacity of LiFePO4 batteries, almost all of the stored energy is available to you. This means that refrigerators, lighting, water pumps and other electrical loads can run for significantly longer than when compared to a comparable lead-acid battery.

Can I charge my lithium battery while driving or via solar power?

Yes. You can charge it using a suitable charger (e.g. MPPT), a solar system or, while driving, via a suitable charging booster. For optimum performance, we recommend the use of only charging systems designed for lithium batteries.

Which lithium battery is suitable for my motorhome?

This depends on your energy requirements, the available installation space and your electrical loads. In many motorhomes, a lithium battery can directly replace the existing AGM or gel battery. Use our battery selection tool or contact our experts.

What happens when several electrical loads are running at the same time?

Even when several electrical loads are running simultaneously, the lithium battery provides a stable voltage. Whether it’s a refrigerator, coffee machine, lighting or inverter, the amount of power available depends on the battery size and the total power demand.

Is lithium worth the extra cost?

In many applications, yes. Lithium batteries offer a significantly longer service life, more usable capacity, shorter charging times and lower weight. Over their total service life, this often makes them more economical – with a lower cost per use than a conventional lead-acid battery.

How do I charge, store and maintain a lithium battery correctly?

LiFePO4 batteries are virtually maintenance-free. For a long service life, we recommend using a suitable charger, observing the recommended storage temperatures and, for longer periods of storage – such as over the winter season – maintaining a partial state of charge of around 30–80%.

Can I simply replace my AGM or gel battery with a lithium battery?

In many cases, yes. Before replacing the battery, check whether the charger, solar system and any existing charging booster are compatible – our experts will be happy to assist you. It is also important to ensure that your load requirements are within the battery specifications, for example with regard to the maximum continuous discharge current.

Does the battery also work in winter?

Yes. LiFePO4 batteries operate reliably even at low temperatures. Models with an integrated heating function can also be charged at low ambient temperatures – ideal for year-round use.

How much weight can I save compared with an AGM battery?

Depending on the capacity, a lithium battery weighs only around one-third as much as a comparable AGM battery. This reduces vehicle weight and provides additional payload capacity.

How long does a lithium battery last?

LiFePO4 batteries achieve at least 5,000 charge and discharge cycles at 50% depth of discharge – seven times more than a comparable AGM battery. With proper use, they therefore last significantly longer than a conventional AGM or gel battery.
