Lithium power for motorhomes, caravans, boats and marine applications
The demand for high-performance, reliable energy storage solutions for mobile and self-sufficient systems is growing, and – Banner is responding to this with the launch of its the new Traction Bull Bloc Lithium series. Five 12-volt models based on lithium iron phosphate technology expand the European battery manufacturer’s portfolio with a bespoke solution for deep-cycle applications.

Leonding, 19 August 2026. “A combination of maximum cycle stability, intelligent control technology and significantly reduced weight makes these batteries ideal for demanding mobile and stationary applications,” explains Franz Märzinger, Head of Sales and Marketing at Banner GmbH. The new range is aimed in particular at manufacturers, vehicle bodybuilders and specialist retailers in the field of mobile energy systems. It is designed for deep-cycle applications – that is, for a consistently stable energy supply with repeated deep discharges without any significant loss of performance. With more than 3,000 cycles at an 80 per cent depth of discharge, this technology offers a long service life. Virtually the entire capacity remains usable. In addition, a stable voltage curve ensures a consistent energy output. Charging is carried out efficiently and safely using the recommended CC-CV method at up to 14.4 volts per block.
Five capacity variants for different requirements
The series is available in five capacity variants: 50, 75, 80, 100 and 150 ampere-hours at a nominal system voltage of 12.8 volts. The usable energy ranges from 640 to 1,920 watt-hours. Despite its high energy density, the weight remains low – the 100 Ah unit weighs around eleven kilograms. This makes the series particularly suitable for applications with limited installation space and high efficiency requirements. The designs comply with common DIN and BCI standards, such as DIN H7/L4 for the 100 Ah pack. The casings, made from highly impact-resistant ABS plastic, are protected against water and dust to IP65 standard. UN38.3 certification, CE marking and RoHS compliance ensure suitability for international use.
Integrated battery management system with app connectivity
All models feature an integrated battery management system (BMS) that continuously monitors cell voltages, current flow and temperature. Protection functions against overcharging, deep discharge, short circuits, overcurrent and overtemperature ensure safe and stable operation. The battery can also be monitored in real time via an app using Bluetooth. The 80, 100 and 150 ampere-hour models are also equipped with a self-heating function, which enables charging at temperatures as low as –20 degrees Celsius – making them ideal for use in winter too.
