A successful 2025/26 financial year
Banner is focusing on growth and driving forward its transformation with millions in investment

Staffordshire, 10 June 2026. Banner looks back on a busy and landmark 2025/26 financial year. The Austrian battery manufacturer is setting a clear course for growth, efficiency and international brand strength.

The 2025/26 financial year was characterised by stability, strategic development and intensive transformation work for Banner. Sales, at 4.25 million units, were slightly higher than the previous year and above target. At €311 million, turnover reached a similar level to the previous financial year. Banner is thus holding its own in the challenging market environment of the European automotive industry. The international aftermarket showed particularly dynamic growth.

Quality, Customer Proximity, and Speed

Banner also achieved important strategic milestones. Several long-term major contracts secure production capacity utilization through 2028, while existing partnerships with OEMs have been extended. This further strengthens Banner’s position as a comprehensive supplier for all powertrain technologies—from conventional combustion engines to fully electric vehicles.

With its Agenda 2035, Banner is consistently driving forward its transformation. The company is focused on growth, profitability, and efficiency. New markets, optimized processes, and modern technologies are at the center of this strategy.

Banner must clearly differentiate itself from the competition through quality, customer proximity, speed, and decisive action“,says Werner Töpfl, CEO of Banner GmbH.

Investments in Digitalization and Brand Development

Digitalization is a key lever for future success. Over the next four years, Banner will invest a significant double-digit million-euro amount in Austria. The goal is to substantially expand automation and digital processes while securing the long-term competitiveness of the production site.

A key initiative is the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. At the same time, Banner is modernizing machinery, infrastructure, and operational processes.

In parallel, Banner is strengthening its brand and launching a comprehensive brand relaunch at the beginning of the new financial year. The new corporate design provides the foundation for a consistent international brand presence and reinforces the company’s ambition to position the Banner brand more clearly and more modernly worldwide. The bull remains an integral part of the brand as a strong and established symbol.

"The new brand identity sends a clear signal to our markets, partners, competitors, and employees: we are preparing for the future—distinctively different and visibly better," the company states.

The new claim, #sparkthedifference, further sharpens the brand positioning and succinctly reflects the company’s ambition. The objective of the relaunch is not only to strengthen brand perception but also to increase awareness among key markets and target groups.

Outlook for 2026/27 – Cautiously Optimistic

Markets remain volatile and difficult to predict. At the same time, Banner sees clear opportunities and further growth potential in the international aftermarket business, new projects, and ongoing investments. Secured capacity utilization, high product quality, and a clear strategic direction provide a solid foundation for the company’s next steps.
