Banner gives a positive assessment of Automechanika 2026

Lithium debut, new brand identity and strong response in Frankfurt

Banner looks back on a successful appearance at Automechanika 2026. The battery specialist unveiled the Traction Bull Bloc Lithium series to an international trade audience in Frankfurt for the first time. From 8 to 12 September, Banner also showcased its automotive portfolio and a new brand identity. Discussions with customers, sales partners and industry representatives provided the company with feedback on products and market requirements.

Staffordshire, September 15, 2026. At its newly designed exhibition stand in Hall 4.1, the company presented its enhanced brand identity for the first time, whilst also showcasing its broad portfolio as a supplier of starter and on-board batteries, energy storage solutions, and charging and testing equipment. “For us, Automechanika is far more than just a product show. It offers the opportunity to discuss market developments directly with customers and partners, whilst at the same time demonstrating the direction in which Banner is moving,” says Franz Märzinger, MBA, Head of Sales and Marketing and Member of the Board at Banner GmbH. “The response to our stand and, in particular, to our new solutions was very encouraging.”

Premieres of the Lithium Series for mobile and stationary applications

The focus of the exhibition stand was the new Traction Bull Bloc Lithium series. With this series, Banner is adding energy storage solutions based on lithium iron phosphate technology to its portfolio for the first time. The batteries are suitable for motorhomes, caravans, boats and stationary off-grid applications that operate independently of the public electricity grid.

Banner is thus expanding the range offered by its Energy Solutions business unit. The company is targeting applications that require a reliable energy supply in situations with limited installation space and varying operating conditions. Discussions at the trade fair centred primarily on energy storage solutions for mobile and self-sufficient applications.

Batteries and accessories for workshops and the retail trade

Alongside the lithium range, Banner showcased its automotive portfolio. This includes the Running Bull AGM, Running Bull EFB, Power Bull and Buffalo Bull AGM starter and on-board batteries. The range is complemented by batteries for motorbikes and powersport vehicles, as well as chargers and testers.

In discussions with garages and retail partners, the role of the 12-volt electrical system in electrified vehicles also featured prominently. Regardless of the type of powertrain, it supplies power to numerous electrical components and supports key vehicle functions. For garages, therefore, alongside the right battery technology, diagnostics, charging and battery management are all part of their day-to-day work.

Banner introduces its updated corporate design

At Automechanika, Banner also unveiled its updated corporate design. The newly designed exhibition stand showcased the modernised logo, the new colour scheme and typeface, and the revised product labelling.

With this new look, Banner combines its experience in the battery business with the addition of new technologies and applications. The trade fair provided the first international platform for the updated design.

Face-to-face interaction remains crucial

The trade fair team used the five days of the event to hold numerous discussions with existing and potential customers, sales partners and industry representatives. In addition to specific product enquiries, the focus was primarily on current developments in the battery market. Topics such as trade agreements and their impact on international business were discussed in depth. At the same time, attention turned to new battery solutions and technologies – foremost among them the Banner Lithium series – and the associated market opportunities and potential applications. “The many face-to-face discussions and direct feedback from different markets are particularly valuable to us. It is precisely this exchange that we are taking away from Frankfurt – as important impetus for the further development of our products and our business,” summarises Märzinger.
