Automechanika 2026: Banner Showcases Lithium Series, Starter Batteries, and New Brand Identity
Three trade show premieres

Banner (Hall 4.1, Booth D51) will be exhibiting at Automechanika 2026 (September 8–12, Frankfurt am Main) with three key focuses: the new Traction Bull Bloc Lithium series for mobile and stationary applications, an expanded portfolio of starter and automotive batteries, and a revamped brand identity, including a new trade show booth.

Leonding, July 20, 2026. The highlight of the trade show presentation is the Traction Bull Bloc Lithium series—Banner’s first foray into the market for lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries. The new product family is aimed at owners of motorhomes, travel trailers, boats, and stationary off-grid systems. Banner offers the series in five capacity levels and six battery types ranging from 50 to 150 ampere-hours.

Designed for deep-cycle applications—that is, repeated discharge and charge cycles—the batteries achieve more than 3,000 cycles at an 80 percent depth of discharge. An integrated battery management system monitors cell voltages, current flow, and temperature, and protects against overcharging, deep discharge, short circuits, and overheating. The 80, 100, and 150 ampere-hour models also feature a self-heating function. This allows the battery to be charged at temperatures as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius, enabling year-round use for outdoor and camping applications.

Starter and Electrical System Batteries for Modern Vehicle Concepts

Alongside its new lithium product, Banner is showcasing its portfolio of starter and onboard batteries in Frankfurt. The focus is on the Running Bull AGM and Running Bull EFB, which the battery specialist has developed specifically for vehicles with start-stop systems. AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries can withstand frequent charge-discharge cycles and are therefore particularly well-suited for vehicles with high energy demands in urban driving conditions. EFB batteries (Enhanced Flooded Battery) are a more powerful evolution of the classic flooded battery and offer an entry point into start-stop technology.

Even in electric and hybrid vehicles, the 12-volt onboard battery remains an integral part of the vehicle’s electrical system. It powers safety and comfort systems and stabilizes the onboard electrical system. Banner rounds out its automotive portfolio with the Power Bull as a premium starter battery and the Buffalo Bull AGM for commercial vehicles.

Motorcycles, Leisure, and Workshop Equipment

For motorcycle and powersport applications, Banner is showcasing the Bike Bull AGM PLUS and Bike Bull AGM PRO. Both models are maintenance-free and designed for use in high-vibration and high-shock environments.

The workshop lineup includes the Accucharger 10A Recovery and Accucharger PRO 35A chargers, as well as the BBT HD1+ and BBT 505 battery testers. These devices are suitable for diagnostics and professional battery management.

Refreshed Brand Identity Makes Its Trade Show Debut

Automechanika also marks the public launch of Banner’s revamped brand identity: a modernized logo, new colors and typefaces, and revised product labeling. The newly designed trade show booth provides a clearer distinction between the two business divisions—Automotive and Energy Solutions—both in terms of layout and content. Banner will subsequently roll out the new corporate design gradually across all communication channels.
